Our Pledge of Commitment

We are honored to continue the legacy of caring for a precious piece of ancestral land. This land has been nurtured organically from times gone by, and has been certified for over 30 years and is currently in the process of certification transfer to the Irish Organic Association (IOA), with the goal of obtaining Demeter Certification — a reflection of our deep alignment with biodynamic principles.

Sustainable Approach

Our approach is rooted in both traditional and regenerative farming methods, such as Korean Natural Farming and No-Dig methods, and applications of biodynamic preparations, always guided by the philosophy of working with nature, not against it. We treat our land with reverence, gratitude, and a spirit of service that goes beyond ourselves, actively contributing to the biodiversity and vitality of our environment.

Commitments

We are committed to:

  • Ethical pay and slow, hands-on methods, where human labour is honoured, and the use of fossil fuels and external energy sources is minimised.

  • Sourcing only certified organic ingredients of the highest quality, in alignment with our ecological values.

  • Supporting other small-scale, land-connected producers, such as OPG Pensa in Kaštel Lukšić, Croatia, who share our dedication to integrity, land stewardship, and intimate livelihood practices.

  • Never testing on animals, and promoting the health of pollinators and biodiversity, on our land and beyond.

Packaging

Our commitment extends to our packaging:

  • Apothecary products are packed in Miron Violetglass, a recyclable, UV-protective glass, chosen for its preservation properties and sustainability.

  • Seed packets are enclosed in recycled paper envelopes, with recycled paper labels on nursery stock items.

  • All accompanying printed materials use EU Ecolabel-certified, FSC Mixed Sources paper and card — 70% recycled content and 30% from responsibly managed forests or reclaimed wood.

Water

We steward our water use responsibly:

  • Gardens and polytunnels are irrigated solely with harvested rainwater.

  • All water used in our processed goods comes from a natural spring well on our land, free from chemical treatment and disconnected from the public supply.

Thank you for being part of our journey.
Together, we sow the seeds of a more sustainable, harmonious world.
